Muslims Mourn Malcolm on anniversary of his death

Fellow brother in faith, Mikael Pittam, the San Jose Muslim Examiner, posted a pertinent article today regarding Malcolm X. Today marks the day, 45 years ago, that this great man died. Allah Yarhamu.
Many lessons can be taken from his life and death.  Malcolm was a man that stood up for what he believed, who was not afraid to admit he was wrong, and who, as far as the public knows, has no illegitimate children to speak of.
The San Jose Muslim Examiner shared great tips for commemorating Black History Month and honoring Malcolm X on his death anniversary.
 The following are his suggestions:
On Twitter: make #MalcolmX a trending topic. Encourage all your followers to share a quote of Malcolm or link to some of his resources and include the hashtag #MalcolmX. Example: http://twitter.com/sueetness/status/9420396588
With the written word: start a study circle and read the autobiography of Malcolm X.
On screen: organize a group viewing of various speeches of Malcolm X. Include a discussion session.
Share with us on how you plan to honor Malcolm in your community.  I know Ann Arborites are not the ones to sit around twiddling their thumbs!
