The Islamic Cultural Institute (ICI) has just released the details for the Community Giveaway Day.
An ICI representative explains that since Michigan is going through a difficult economical time, Muslims wanted to come together and do something to help others.
Many of us have items in our home that we no longer need or use; why not give them to people that would benefit from them? In this spirit, the ICI will open up its doors on Saturday February 27th from 1-5pm offering free items to both the non-Muslim and Muslim populations in the area.
If you have extra clothes, bags, or any other household items that are usable and in good shape please bring it to the ICI from 7-8pm during weekdays till Friday the 26th. For further arrangments please send an email to iciboard@yahoo.com (or contact the author for a phone number).
