New Muslim Students' Assoc. board instated at UM

Early this morning the Elections Chair of the University of Michigan's Muslim Students' Association announced the newly instated MSA Executive Board core.
The board election was held these past three weeks; individuals had to be paid members of the MSA in order to cast their vote.  The entire election process is still not complete but the main executive board officials have been instated.
On the Ann Arbor campus, the MSA is quite legendary being the recipient of the Best Student Organization (campus wide) award on at least two recent occasions.  Also, It is often the case that the president and/or vice president of the MSA takes home a Best Leader of Student Organization award.
The Muslims are an active force on Ann Arbor's campus, being at the forefront of Fast-a-thons, Islam Awareness Weeks, charity endeavors, and political vigils.  Past MSA members have been quoted and featured in Newsweek and on ABC news.
That is just how the UM MSA rolls.
