Halal Joke Series: Directions from an Ann Arborite

Ann Arborites are known for their open mindedness and sense of humor. In an effort to increase the number of clean jokes that are accessible to the Muslim community, we have compiled a list of jokes and funny stories that all can enjoy on this Examiner page.
Unfortunately, the sources for many of the jokes in this series are unknown. If the reader can offer more information about a joke which is featured (an alternative telling, names of the characters, origin or culture, etc.) please let us know in the comment section below.
THE JOKE:
There was once a traveling student who found himself lost within the circular insanity of Ann Arbor streets.  The student sees a kind face and decides to ask this man how to get where he's going.
"Excuse me, Sir? How do I find the Islamic Center of Ann Arbor?," to which the man replies, "Welluh, take a left at this street here, keep straight for about a mile, turn right at the first light. Then stop at the house on the hill.
The student asks uncertainly, "The house on the hill?" to which the man responds, "Yes. Knock on the door of that house and ask that man where the Islamic Center is. He'll know."
THE MORAL:
It's OK to say, "I don't know."  Simply. :-)
This joke is Middle Eastern in origin.
