Sometimes American Muslims are too busy to go to every Islamic seminar and symposium offered in the area.
But busy Muslims, and any Muslims in general, have a responsibility to learn about their faith and Muslim identity. It helps when Islamic organizations pick a day or two, months in advance, to hold an educational event. Now enter the Muslim Alliance of North America (MANA) stage center to save the day!
MANA and SHARE Detroit, Inc are putting on a regional conference in June for Muslims in Michigan, and presumably in Ohio, and Illinois as well! This year's conference will focus on the topic of strengthening families and communities. Talk about a much needed subject of discussion in the Metro Detroit Area, ahem.
Special and scholarly speakers include Shaikh Ali Suleiman Ali, Sister Tahirah Khalid, Imam Siraj Wahhaj and a few others. Details are below. They'd love to see you there.
