Times Square terrorism attempt thwarted by Muslim vendor

All over the news is the story of a certain Faisal Shahzad and his alleged attempt to set off a car bomb in New York's Times Square.  Undoubtedly the media has quickly mentioned Shahzad's 'muslimness' and the fact that he hails from Pakistan.
A major detail of the story that has not been tooted is the fact that a vendor who brought the smoking car to the police’s attention is a Muslim man.
Aliou Niasse, a Senagalese Muslim immigrant working as a photograph vendor on Times Square, alerted his friend to the threatening situation, and together they flagged down a police officer.
In a nutshell, a Alio Niasse saved the day.
This is not the first time that a Muslim has taken actions to thwart potential terrorism, and definitely not the last.  The Nigerian Christmas bomber was reported by his parents weeks before his attempt to blow up a plane in Detroit and the family of five young Pakistani terrorists informed officials about their terror-attempt concerns.
In light of recent and abundant similar news stories, it is now in completely bad taste to continue to make blanket statements which infer Islam to be synonymous with violence or Muslims synonymous with terrorists.
It is apparent that for every one Rotten-Muslim-Apple, there are thousands of Wholesome-Muslim-Apples.  As is the case with any group of peoples, really.
All Muslims are not terrorists but all terrorists are human.  Let's deal with that fact.  Why do human beings want to kill one another?
