The FBI was in Michigan over the weekend and not to have coffee at Bigby's.
Reportedly there were Christian militia groups in several Midwest states that were raided by FBI and this resulted in arrests being made.
According to the Associated Press and NPR news sources, "FBI spokeswoman Sandra Berchtold confirmed the FBI had been working in two southeast Michigan counties" and "property in southeast Michigan was being raided by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives".
One group targeted was the "Hutaree" Christian militia. Their websites includes several bible passages and the following message: We believe that one day, as prophecy says, there will be an Anti-Christ... Jesus wanted us to be ready to defend ourselves using the sword and stay alive using equipment.
CAIR has gotten in on the conversation because it has been reported that Hutaree members made threats of violence against Islamic organizations. Even without blatant threats, the website message quoted above seems purposely dubious and quite ominous to any non-Christian visitor. Frankly, who is to know who they consider to be the "Anti-Christ"?
These are Christian militants targeting, with violence, other groups and peoples based on their beliefs. Has the term 'Christianityist' been coined yet? If a word is made up then the people will really know how frightened to be.
Lately, and undisputably, there are more and more white, American, non-Muslim individuals (or groups composed of/by them) who are extremely anti-government and anti-immigrant minded. And these people are not afraid to use violent force and explosions to prove it. What is the next pragmatic step?
Oh, All-Powerful Allah, Bless America and Restore Her to her Egalitarian Roots; to Her Glory. Ameen.
