For Muslims aspiring to go to University, here is a scholarship opportunity that one should know about.
ISNA, the Islamic Society of North America, proudly announces the Dr. Abdulmunim A. Shakir Scholarship.
If you are a student entering your first year of undergraduate study you may qualify to receive the Dr. Abdulmunim Scholarship, which totals one thousand dollars for the 2010-11 academic year.
Twenty scholarships will be awarded to students that demonstrate merit and good academic standing. To apply, participants will need to fill out the online application along with letters of recommendation. The deadline for applications is May 1st, 2010.
