Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America presents a photo contest!

The Halal Consumer magazine, an publication under the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA) is calling for photo submissions.
The magazine is holding a contest to obtain pictures of Muslims being health conscious, to be featured in the next issue.
The rules for submission are:

Close up shot of an adult or child drinking milk (a milk mustache would be acceptable). -
Child or adult eating IFANCA certified yogurt products, with label clearly in view -
Child or male exercising -
Child or adult sleeping -
Photos of parent and children baking or cooking
Participants should be sure to include the names and ages of everyone in the photograph, the name of the photographer, and address phone number and email for contact purposes. An individual may submit as many photos as they like across all categories.
Deadline for the photo contest is March 7th, 2010, though late submissions may be accepted. Email the pictures along with the requested information to info@halalconsumer.com
This contest is just one example of how Muslims can become more involved in media without having to compromise their faith. Here is in an opportunity to be in a magazine that is promoting health and halal consumerism -- there's no excuse not to!
